Why we're different
1. Media Training is Our Primary Specialty
We’re not one of those firms that offer media training as one of dozens of services. Media training is our passion, our primary specialty, and our main expertise. Click here to watch our media training video tips.
2. Experienced Senior Trainers Will Conduct Your Trainings
Your spokespersons will benefit from being trained by company president Brad Phillips or senior trainer Nathan Roberts, who collectively have more than 50 years of broadcast journalism and media training experience.
3. Customer Satisfaction
Dun and Bradstreet anonymously surveyed 20 of our clients. They found we earned a:
- 99 percent for staff attitude, courtesy and professionalism
- 97 percent for following through on commitments reliably
- 96 percent for ease to do business with
4. Flat Rate “No Surprises” Pricing
Our estimates are “all inclusive,” helping you avoid any guesswork about the final price. Our rates include all preparation and research, equipment, takeaway materials, post-training continuing education, and more.
5. Free Post-Training Continuing Education
Trainees receive a free post-training “report card” and a free post-training telephone refresher session, can read our popular blog at www.MrMediaTraining.com, opt-in to our monthly newsletter, watch our videos, and follow our Twitter feed.
6. We Don’t Lecture At Our Trainees
We’ve learned that media training requires as much interaction as possible. Although we have a PowerPoint available, we prefer spending the vast majority of our time practicing with trainees – both on- and off-camera.
7. Extensive Research
Our clients are often astonished at our preparedness. As Dr. Harvey Fineberg, president of the Institute of Medicine, commented, “Brad Phillips knows his stuff and does his homework. His extensive preparation…enabled us to take full advantage of the time we had together.”
